Our Suppliers – Where We Get Our Produce At Tosnú Restaurant?
In Ireland and especially Galway, we are blessed we some of the best food producers and suppliers in Europe. Our team here at Tosnú want to try and use as much local produce as possible and support our local work force.
Of course it’s impossible for every single item in a restaurant to 100% local but we do do our best in sourcing and are open to any local businesses dropping in with product samples for us to try out here. So who do we use?
We get our coffee from a company call Adare Beverages, our meats from Mike Walsh Butchers and sometimes Collerans Butchers, some amazing goats cheese from the Galway Goat Farm and other cheese from Sheridans Cheesmongers, our organic veg from Slow Hill Farm and other veg from Total Produce, our fish comes from the wonderful Mary’s Fish and other ingredients from McCambridges and Evergreen.
We want to keep it as local as possible and will do our best to maintain this. We support them the way they support us. And we want our costumers to be able to feel and taste the quality the Ireland is producing as it enters the climbing stage of its food revolution.
